EXECUTIVE EDUCATION

AI Adoption and Human Behaviour: An Executive Education Programme .

AI Adoption and Human Behaviour is a two day Executive Education Programme, taught by a faculty working on AI adoption with some of the world’s largest companies. It’s designed for senior leaders who are thinking about how to embed AI into their organisation’s ways of working.

The programme will focus on tackling a challenge faced by so many organisations around the world — organisations have made heavy investments in AI tools, systems and processes, but aren’t realising the gains AI promised. Many of these organisations find that the standard approaches — more tooling, more training, more communication — aren't moving the needle.

At CogCo, we believe that this is as much a human challenge as it is a technical one. Talking to senior leaders across industries has shown that this is often an under-represented element in leadership strategy. Leaders are operating in an environment of urgency and pressure, and employees are responding from a place of uncertainty.

This two-day, in-person programme applies a human-centred lens to the challenge of AI adoption, supporting leaders who want to move beyond the hype and build a strategy grounded in how people actually think, decide, and change. You'll leave with a clear, evidence-based approach to driving adoption that ensures you bring your teams with you, as your organisation transitions to AI-enhanced ways of working.

Throughout the programme, we will also explore and discuss the very latest research on the implications of human beings using AI and the impact it has upon our decision making.

What will you learn?

On Day 1, we will focus on understanding and strategy. You will come away having learnt:

  • Why there's often a gap between the vision organisations have for AI and the reality of adoption, and how to close it
  • How to interrogate the real purpose behind your organisation's AI ambitions, and how that purpose should shape which types of AI you use
  • How to segment your employees according to their behavioural barriers and drivers toward AI use, using our proprietary tool BengoAI to explore their concerns, attitudes, and needs first-hand

On Day 2, we will focus on turning insight into action. You will come away having learnt::

  • What separates successful AI implementations from cautionary tales, drawn from real organisational case studies
  • Concrete strategies for supporting employees through the transition to AI-enhanced ways of working, including where different employee segments need different approaches, and how AI sycophancy can distort human decision-making if left unchecked
  • How to lead by example as a visible champion of AI adoption, leaving with a set of concrete actions to implement in your own organisation

Who is this programme for?

This programme is for executives who want to take a human-centred approach to AI adoption within their organisation. It is particularly relevant for those who are facing challenges relating to resistance and uneven adoption within their workforce.

Why CogCo?

CogCo is uniquely positioned to help address human-centered AI adoption:

We are actively working with some of the world's largest companies, helping them to develop and deploy their AI adoption strategy. We have been asked to do these projects because we understand the need to combine strategic thinking with practical ideas that can be implemented within organisations.

We are experts in understanding and influencing human behaviour, including organisational behaviour. This means that the insights we discuss within the programme will always be grounded in the latest research and evidence (some of which we help to develop)
We build our own proprietary AI tools with our team of data scientists, developers and designers. This means we also have a good understanding of the technical aspects of AI tools and systems. An example is our AI research tool BengoAI which helps organisations to create employee personas, which can then be used to test ideas about effective strategies.
